Great news! Our little Fiona is finally coming out of her shell. She comes out of hiding every morning to get her treat of tasty baby food from Eileen. She even lets Eileen pet her while she eats her treat. Then it's time for games with the feathers on a stick or her favorite white ball which she like to hit back and forth between her paws as she makes her way to the other end of the kitchen. Whenever she hears the kitchen door opening though, she zips back into her hiding place until she sizes up who came into the room. When she feels safe, she comes out unless there's too much noise or movement around her and then she's back to the hiding place. In the evening she's really sociable. When she hears the refrigerator door open, she's out of hiding and meowing for her treat. After she's done eating, it's time for a kitty massage by Eileen and then some play time with her balls or feathers. She's getting curious about the other side of the kitchen door. She sees people entering and leaving from somewhere beyond the door and she wants to see what's on the other side. That will be the next chapter in the Fiona story...
