LEO'S AMERICAN ADVENTURE 9
Los Gatos High School Graduation Ceremony June 13, 2008
It was a beautiful but blistering hot Friday (mid-90's) for the LGHS class of 2008's graduation ceremony . The graduation is held each year on the front lawn of the stately old high school (claim to fame - Olivia de Havilland graduated from the school in 1935). Although Leo didn't have to show up until 5:30 PM for the 6:00 PM ceremony, Eileen, Rich, Pat, Randy, and Maryann got there before 4:00 PM to grab some extra seats that offered a reasonable view of the stage.
Halfway through the ceremony, thick clouds of smoky fog (courtesy of the out-of-control Martin fire burning in the nearby Santa Cruz mountains) covered the sky above, covering the scene with a yellowish orange tint.
